Citizens Comments: Kristina Wood was present to request council remove her property and that of her neighbor (Brown) from the annexation petition of Johnson Road. The reason for her request was the cost of the utilities service and the lack of need for them. Also, that the 4 lots involved were on the end of the opposite side of the road. Council member Bordenkircher commented that he did not think that council had the authority to do that at this point in the process, and urged her to attend the public hearing that the county commissioners will be holding on January 7, 2002, at 9 AM in the county annex. It was agreed that the village solicitor should be consulted as to the council’s authority in this matter.

Ordinances:

Reports:

Village Administrator – Phase 3 is still behind schedule with the pipe being laid and the hydrants to be set next. The line will be pressure tested and disinfected after that and then the taps will be connected. The roof and building projects will be completed this week.
