West Lafayette Village Council met in regular session
at 7:00 P.M., in the municipal building with Mayor Jack L. Patterson
presiding.

Call: Dave Rogers, Roger Warne, Kelly Gossett, Ron Lusk, Christie
Maurer and Stephen Bordenkircher were present.
A motion
was made and seconded to approve the minutes of the November 28, 2005
council meeting. (RC 5 yes 1 Abstain)

services for securing office equipment and service support.

Introduction to ordinances and resolutions:
ORDINANCE
2005-20: AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH 2006 BENEFIT, PAY SCHEDULE/SCALE FOR THE
VILLAGE OF WEST LAFAYETTE. A motion was made and seconded to suspend the
rules (RC 6 yes). A motion was made and seconded to adopt Ordinance
2005-20. (RC 6 yes).
ORDINANCE 2005-21: AN ORDINANCE TO HIRE A SOLICITOR FOR THE YEAR 2006. A
motion was made and seconded to suspend the rules (RC 6 yes). A motion was
made and seconded to adopt Ordinance 2005-21. (6 yes).

Reports:
Village Administrator: Leaf equipment cleaned
up and put away. Snow and ice equipment put on and is in use. 25 tons of
salt will be delivered 12/13/05. Update on Jack Mardis. Jack is in Grant
Hospital, Columbus with severe health problems.

Clerk’s report: Monthly revenue and expense
reports are available for review. Fiscal Officer gave a report on
“Look-alike” Statement Training held in New Philadelphia. Very complicated
process.
