INTENT TO PURCHASE REAL ESTATE AND GRANT AUTHORITY TO VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR TO SIGN PURCHASE CONTRACT

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village of West Lafayette, State of Ohio as follows:

SECTION I: The council for the Village of West Lafayette, Ohio has determined that purchase of land described herein is in the best interests of the citizens and the Village of West Lafayette, Ohio. The real estate is located in the Village of West Lafayette, Ohio and is more particularly described as follows:

Situated in the County of Coshocton in the State of Ohio and in the Village of West Lafayette and bounded and described as follows:

Being Lot Numbered One Hundred and eight (108) as said lot is marked and delineated on the recorded plat of the Village of West Lafayette, Ohio. Also the East part of Lot Number One Hundred Five (105), all except the part conveyed to the Village of West Lafayette, Ohio, described in Volume 168, Page 204, of the Coshocton County Deed Records.

SECTION II: The Village Administrator is authorized and directed to sign a purchase contract for purchase of the real estate for Thirty Five Thousand and 00/100 ($35,000.00) Dollars, contingent upon receipt of a Warranty Deed, an ordinance authorizing the purchase and payment of the purchase price, certification that title to the property is marketable by the Village Solicitor, and payment of all delinquent and prorated real estate taxes.
