AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 2005-20 TO PROVIDE FOR SALARY FOR FISCAL OFFICER

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of West Lafayette, State of Ohio as follows:

SECTION I. Ordinance 2005-20, Section 4 Fiscal Officer salary shall be amended to read:

Fiscal Officer, $26,500 annual, paid bi-weekly.

SECTION II. All other provisions of Ordinance 2005-20 not amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION III: That the Village of West Lafayette, Ohio declares this ordinance to be an emergency necessary for the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of West Lafayette, Ohio for reason that a new Fiscal Officer has been appointed at the agreed salary and she is needed to begin work immediately. This ordinance is effective immediately upon passage and signing by the Mayor.
