A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF WEST LAFAYETTE TO ESTABLISH A SOURCE WATER PROTECTION PLAN.

WHEREAS, the Village of West Lafayette and The Board of Public Affairs/ Village Administrator hereafter referred to as BPA/VA and;

WHEREAS, the Village of West Lafayette and BPA/VA wish to participate in the Source Water Protection Plan to better protect our drinking water and inform our community of the importance of such a plan.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council for the Village of West Lafayette, Ohio as follows:

Section 1: The Village Council and BPA/VA authorize the Village of West Lafayette to establish a committee to review and prepare a Source Water Protection Plan.

Section 2: This Plan will be approved by the EPA prior to implementation.

Section 3: Any additional information provided by EPA will be included in this said resolution.
