A RESOLUTION TO CO-OPERATE WITH CREATION OF AN INDUSTRIAL PARK

WHEREAS the Village Council for West Lafayette, Ohio, and Mayor recognize the importance of the creation of an Industrial Park; and,

WHEREAS the Village Council for West Lafayette, Ohio, and Mayor wish to publicly thank and acknowledge the offer from the William Shurtz family toward this venture; and,

WHEREAS an Industrial Park will create the potential for new jobs and business opportunities for West Lafayette, Ohio, and all surrounding areas;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of West Lafayette, State of Ohio, with the approval of the Mayor as follows:

SECTION I. The Village Council for the Village of West Lafayette, Ohio, along with support and approval of the Village Administration, states its support for the creation of an Industrial Park along Johnson Road, and presently in Lafayette Township, Coshocton County, Ohio.

SECTION II. The Village Council for the Village of West Lafayette, Ohio, along with the approval and support of the Village Administration, pledges its co-operation and willingness to partner together with other governmental and private entities in the development of such industrial park.

SECTION III. The Village Council of West Lafayette, Ohio, along with the approval and support of the Village Administration acknowledges and thank the William Shurtz family for its offer without which the Industrial Park venture would not be possible.

SECTION IV. The Village Council of West Lafayette, Ohio, along with the approval and support of the Village Administration, state the proposed Industrial Park venture is a positive step toward creating new job opportunities for the Village and surrounding areas.

SECTION V. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and upon the earliest date allowed by law.
