AN ORDINANCE WAIVING RESIDENCE REQUIREMENT OF VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR

WHEREAS the mayor of the Village of West Lafayette, Ohio has appointed David Kadri to be Village Administrator of West Lafayette, Ohio;

WHEREAS the Council of the Village of West Lafayette, Ohio has approved the appointment of David Kadri as Village Administrator of West Lafayette, Ohio on June 9, 2008;

WHEREAS David Kadri resides at 53693 TR 155, West Lafayette, Ohio 43812, which is only a short distance from the Municipal Corporation Limits of West Lafayette, Ohio, and he can be to the Village in a short time on call;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of West Lafayette, State of Ohio as follows:

SECTION I. That the residency of David Kadri outside of the Municipal Corporation Limits of West Lafayette, Ohio, is herewith approved;

SECTION II. That the residency requirements of Ohio Revised Code §735.271 shall be and herewith are waived in regard to David Kadri.

SECTION III. That this Ordinance shall take effect at the earliest date allowed by law.
