Code Enforcement

The Code Enforcement Division helps to protect the Village of West Lafayette public’s well-being and enhance the quality of life by enforcing the health, safety, zoning and sanitation codes.  The Village has adopted the American Legal Publishing's Ohio Basic Code as the code of ordinances for the Village, as noted below in Ordinance 2024-06.  The Ohio Basic Code for the Village can be found at https://codelibrary.amlegal.com/ .  In addition, the village has additional ordinances it has adopted for code enforcement and are listed below.
